Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Scientific Communications Excellence to drive operational excellence, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across the Global Scientific Communications team.

The role blends scientific communications with digital innovation and governance to improve efficiency, compliance, and resource use. The AD will partner with Sci Comms and cross-functional teams to implement best publication practices, automate processes, and identify

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in pharma or medical communications; experience in operations or excellence.
• PMI PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion governance, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across Sci Comms operations.
• Oversee standards, SOPs, and audit readiness for publication platforms (iEnvision).
• Develop KPIs, monitor performance, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders globally to drive improvements.
