Job Description

The Associate Director of Quantitative Research manages and oversees a Client Service Team. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring staff, building client relationships, ensuring project completion on time and within budget, and improving internal processes. This role is ideal for someone with management experience in market research, especially in online healthcare research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members, monitoring KPIs and workload.
  • Guide the operations team and manage project escalations to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior management to update processes and systems.
  • Ensure quality and productivity of data collection.
  • Oversee billing and project profitability.
  • Support the development of best practices for client service and training.
  • Handle client service improvement plans and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Approve leave, expenses, and conduct quarterly reviews of direct reports.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years in Quantitative Market Research.
  • 3+ years in project management.
  • Healthcare market research experience preferred.
  • 1+ years managing employees preferred.
  • Experience with complex research projects (programming, sampling, international, translations, patients) is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
