The mission of the Associate Director of Quantitative Research is to manage and oversee a Client Service Team. The individual will be a leader for their team by directly coaching and mentoring staff, building relationships with M3 clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The Associate Director will also assist with updating processes and internal systems to promote efficiency and collaboration. This role is ideal for someone with management experience in market research, specifically focused on online healthcare research.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, appraise, and develop team members, monitoring KPIs and workload distribution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the operations team.
  • Manage project escalations to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion, partnering with internal stakeholders to address issues and improve performance.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement process, procedure, and system enhancements.
  • Investigate and manage project escalations, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Monitor productivity and data collection quality of team projects.
  • Oversee billing processes to ensure project profitability.
  • Support the development and implementation of best practices and client service policies.
  • Execute client service improvement plans, collaborating with sales and team members to ensure a consistent, solution-oriented client journey.
  • Oversee training for new and current team members.
  • Approve annual leave, expense reports, and conduct quarterly reviews of direct reports.

Qualifications:

Education and Training: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 5 years in Quantitative Market Research
  • At least 3 years in project management
  • Experience in healthcare-focused market research preferred
  • At least 1 year in employee management preferred
  • Experience with complex market research projects (programming, sampling, international translations, patient referrals) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives.
