Novartis in Barcelona is seeking an Associate Director, IMACE Scientific Content, Immunology. You will translate International Medical Affairs strategies into compelling scientific content to support launch readiness and lifecycle management across markets.

You will lead development of assets including slide decks, digital content, and training materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline (PhD/PharmD/MD).
• Minimum 5+ years of Medical Affairs, Scientific Content experience in pharma.
• Experience designing and overseeing development of assets: slides, training materials, congress materials, digital assets, omnichannel content.
• Experience developing and executing scientific content/communication strategies at international scale.
• Experience across country-level and regional/global roles.

As Associate Director, IMACE Scientific Content, Immunology, you will play a key role in translating International Medical Affairs and Immunology strategies into compelling scientific content that supports launch readiness, lifecycle management, and scientific engagement across markets. Reporting to the Head of Scientific Content Portfolio (Immunology), you will partner closely with International and Global Medical Affairs teams, cross‑functional stakeholders, and country organizations to deliver high-quality, scientifically robust content that advances medical excellence and stakeholder engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to drive scientific storytelling, enable scalable and modular content approaches, and help shape the future of scientific communication within a dynamic Immunology portfolio. Through collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence, you will contribute to improving how scientific information reaches healthcare professionals and ultimately supports better outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate International Medical Affairs and Immunology strategies into clear scientific content plans and execution roadmaps.
• Support development and delivery of high-quality scientific and medical content across the Immunology portfolio.
• Create scientifically accurate materials including slide decks, healthcare professional content, training materials, and scientific exchange assets.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle initiatives through proactive planning and timely content delivery.
• Partner with International and Global Medical Affairs teams to align scientific messaging and content priorities.
• Act as a key content partner to regions and countries while maintaining scientific consistency and strategic alignment.
• Enable scalable modular content approaches that support reuse, localization, and omnichannel engagement.
• Ensure all scientific materials meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, scientific rigor, and governance.

Essential Requirements

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline such as Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or Medical Doctor.
• Minimum 5+ years of Medical Affairs, Scientific Content experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong track record in designing and overseeing development of a wide range of assets, including slide decks, training materials, congress materials, digital assets, and omnichannel content.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing scientific content and communication strategies, including launch and lifecycle communications, at an international scale.
• Experience across both country-level and regional/global roles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to drive multiple projects to successful, timely completion.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and managing external vendors or agencies.
• Fluent oral and written English required. Additional country or regional language(s) desirable.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 73,100.00 - 135,700.00 EUR

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
