Job summary

King is seeking an Associate Director to join the CMO Office in Barcelona, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. You will help our Marketing organisation operate as one integrated team, translating marketing discipline knowledge into clearer priorities, stronger coordination and more effective delivery.

This role is not traditional Marketing Operations or executive support; it requires hands-on marketing expertise and the ability to align priorities, drive collaboration and elevate delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in a CMO Office or similar senior-marketing role.
• Experience working with senior leaders in a complex org.
• Experience managing a small team.
• Experience coordinating objectives across multiple teams.
• Experience preparing senior-level meetings and communications.
• Experience in gaming, entertainment or consumer digital business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structure and maintain visibility over marketing priorities across the Marketing organisation.
• Lead and develop a small team, setting clear priorities and focusing support where it can have the greatest impact.
• Own and coordinate the objective-setting and review process, ensuring progress, risks and areas requiring support are clearly understood.
• Own the preparation of key meetings and presentations, agreeing agendas with the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team, coordinating inputs and creating clear, focused narratives.
• Own and maintain a consolidated view of priorities and commitments, surfacing dependencies or issues that require leadership attention.
• Work with Marketing Leadership Team and other teams when priorities require broader coordination, clarifying responsibilities and next steps.
• Support clear and consistent communication across Marketing to stay aligned and informed.
• Capture important decisions and follow up with owners to keep commitments on track.
• Coordinate selected projects or team moments sponsored by the CMO, managing the plan, milestones and follow-through.
• Improve templates, forums and workflows that help Marketing operate with clarity and focus.
• Use AI tools to improve the quality and speed of planning, synthesis and communication.
