Our services include oral solid dose (tablets, capsules, and softgels), sterile fill finish (vials, syringes, and cartridges), and the associated packaging and testing. Our customers range from small biotech/pharmaceutical start-ups to large pharmaceutical companies for the development and commercialization of new medicines and therapies worldwide.Position SummaryReporting to the DPD Lead Counsel Europe, the Associate Corporate Counsel will primarily support the European DPD sites, including Ferentino and Monza, Italy; Tilburg, Netherlands; Bourgoin, France; and Swindon, UK. This role may also support North American DPD sites located in Bend, Oregon; Toronto, Canada; Whitby, Canada; Greenville, North Carolina; Cincinnati, Ohio; Manati, Puerto Rico; and High Point, North Carolina. It is an on-site/hybrid role from our Glasgow site or 100% remote.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides legal support for site operations across DPD Europe, advising on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters including commercial, anti-trust, regulatory, licensing, controlled substances, quality, and data privacy.Assesses legal risks and offers recommendations and mitigation strategies to sites and senior management.Advises on commercial disputes, vendor and client escalations, investigations, and dispute resolution.Collaborates with Group Contracting, Regional, and Functional counsel for support on legal matters.Supports contract negotiations related to client services and sourcing, including drafting and review of proposals and SOWs.Provides training on contract requirements and legal topics to functional groups within DPD.Supports strategic projects and initiatives aimed at business growth and expansion within Europe.ExperienceQualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction (preferably UK), from an internationally recognized law school.Proficient in English, both verbal and written.Strong PQE with experience in-house or at an international law firm, with a focus on commercial law, preferably in fast-paced consumer goods, life sciences, healthcare, or highly regulated industries.Customer-centric, solutions-oriented, capable of delivering results under tight deadlines with high accuracy.Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Travel requirements estimated at 15-20%.Law firm experience is a plus.EquivalencyEquivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.We offer competitive remuneration, annual bonus, healthcare, and employee benefits.
