Job Description :

We are seeking an Associate Business Advisor to join our team. This role is vital to our organization, especially within our Agriculture & Commercial lending team. The key responsibilities include :

• Responding to member inquiries by providing advice and guidance on a full range of financial products and services.
• Identifying and acting upon business development opportunities beneficial to members.
• Assisting with loan documentation, Moody's input, and analysis.
• Ensuring all loan activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as a resource during appointments with members for initial loan requests or finalizing document signatures.
• Utilizing digital solutions to improve efficiency, simplify banking needs, and enhance the member experience.
• Completing assigned training and development programs for career growth.

Qualifications :

• At least 1 year of postsecondary education or equivalent, plus 1-3 years of relevant experience (e.g., opening business accounts, consumer lending, quality assurance), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in software packages such as Moody's ProLender, FCT, iClic.
• Completion of courses related to Consumer Lending, Residential Mortgage, Commercial, and Agricultural Lending is an asset.
• Demonstrated sales and service skills that contribute to the growth of Innovation Federal Credit Union.
• Detail-oriented and risk-aware, contributing to safeguarding our assets and reputation.
• Proficient in digital literacy, including critical thinking, problem solving, and navigating digital solutions.
• Comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, and Power BI.
