A leading company in luxury hospitality is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for their Ibiza location. This position involves supporting restaurant operations, ensuring quality service, and fostering positive guest interactions. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and have a solid background in managing luxury dining experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, I will assist the Restaurant Manager and take responsibility for the efficient operation of the restaurant, ensuring the delivery of exceptional products and services in line with brand standards.

I will ensure all policies, procedures, and best practices are established and enforced. Supporting the rejuvenation of the restaurant and culinary experience, I will oversee menu, wine list, and amenities to align with Six Senses wellness and sustainability principles. Collaboration with other departments will be key to meet guest needs effectively.

I will maintain comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials, and wine list, and be capable of recommending wine in the absence of a sommelier.

Maintaining high standards of personal appearance, grooming, hygiene, safety, security, and emergency procedures is essential for myself and all team members, in accordance with brand and legal requirements.

Guest Interaction and Additional Duties

Interacting professionally and courteously with guests and hosts, I will proactively seek feedback to ensure an outstanding guest experience from arrival to departure. I will also undertake any additional duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications

I possess the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience in a similar or higher role within luxury hotels, with proven results. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management, complemented by over two years of relevant operational experience.

I am a proactive, visible leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing clear direction and maintaining the property's market position. I have a keen sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence, and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of luxury clientele.

From a people management perspective, I am responsive, engaged, and capable of building strong relationships with staff, fostering a shared vision of success, leveraging resources, and managing through influence. Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), familiarity with hotel systems like MICROS, and knowledge of hotel policies regarding discounts and promotions.

I am well-versed in food and beverage terminology, operations, wine service, menu development, hygiene standards, and inventory control. I possess excellent command of English, with some knowledge of Spanish and local customs.
