A leading company in student accommodation is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure smooth operations and enhance the living experience for students. This role includes responsibilities in team leadership, sales, customer service, and maintenance of high property standards, offering an exciting opportunity for those passionate about student living.

Formación

Our Assistant Managers are part of a team of dedicated Yugoers across the globe, supporting consistent service delivery to our students. We seek #Futureshapers eager to positively influence and shape students' lives and the Yugo community.

This role demands a hands-on approach to ensure the delivery of cost-effective facilities and maintenance services. You will be responsible for managing the residence in the absence of the Residence Manager, ensuring all aspects operate smoothly.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Residence Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and guiding the team to ensure smooth residence operations
  • Following up on sales opportunities and maintaining property occupancy through short-term and long-term lets
  • Driving sales and marketing initiatives to maximize occupancy and utilize all channels effectively
  • Maintaining high standards of property presentation through regular inspections and collaboration with the facilities team
  • Handling complaints and providing excellent customer service to students
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local universities and suppliers
  • Managing the operational calendar and student lifecycle from arrival to departure and summer turnaround
