Our Assistant Managers are part of a team of dedicated Yugoers across the globe, supporting consistent service delivery to our students. We seek #Futureshapers eager to positively influence and shape the lives of students and Yugoers alike.

This role demands a hands-on approach, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective facilities and maintenance services, and taking responsibility when the Residence Manager is unavailable, to keep all residence operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Residence Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and guiding the team to ensure smooth residence operations
  • Following up on sales opportunities to maximize occupancy through short and long-term lets
  • Driving marketing activities to fill residences and utilize all channels effectively
  • Maintaining high standards in property presentation through regular inspections and collaboration with the facilities team
  • Handling complaints and providing excellent customer service to students
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local universities and suppliers
  • Managing the operational calendar and student lifecycle from arrival to departure, including summer turnovers

Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Experience in managing residences within hotels, hospitality, or student accommodation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building quality relationships
  • A passion for providing students with exceptional living experiences
  • Alignment with our values of integrity, commitment, and energy
  • Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a focus on sales and marketing
  • Qualification or willingness to undertake Carbon Literacy training
