The University of Navarra seeks to fill a two-year full-time Assistant Professor position in ISSA School of Applied Management, to begin in late 2025. Initially limited to two years, the contract may be extended for a further three years following positive interim evaluations. The School’s management board will assess the selected candidate’s performance at the end of each year. The decision to renew the contract will depend on overall performance and ongoing mutual interest. Successful candidates may apply for tenure after the two-year period.

Areas of Competence: Management Information Systems, Digital Business Communication.

Areas of Specialization: Management Information Systems (ERP and/or CRM), Data Analysis and Business Intelligence.

Requirements

• PhD in Management or a related field, recognized potential for publication in leading international peer-reviewed journals, and teaching experience.
• Capacity to teach in English and Spanish (language proficiency to be demonstrated during the selection process), on a teaching load of between 4 and 6 class-hours per week during each semester.
• A record of research activity in applied business management and/or technology. In particular, the candidate is expected to have a focus on application-oriented research in an up-to-date field of business sustainability, business management or a related field, preferably related to business digitalization, which may be aligned with the School’s research activity in applied management.

Other responsibilities

• Meet the research and teaching achievements that will qualify him/her for appointment as a tenured professor at any university in Spain via the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).
• Participate proactively in curriculum and other academic development in ISSA School of Applied Management and the University of Navarra.
• Show a genuine commitment to holistic student development and working closely with academic colleagues and administrative personnel.
