Formación

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); German highly valued.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and design/content tools.

Playitas Resort, the leading sports resort in Europe, offers more than 30 different sports and fitness activities for everyone who wants to get fit, stay fit, or prepare for a sports event. Located in a picturesque bay next to the fishing village of Las Playitas on the beach, the resort features state-of-the-art facilities such as a heated Olympic pool, a bike centre with the latest road and mountain bikes, 5 tennis courts, 4 padel courts, 2 multicourts, a climbing wall with 5 levels of difficulty, a boxing ring, indoor hall, a 700m² gym, open-air fitness park, and an 18-hole golf course.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to support and implement sales and marketing strategies, with a strong focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships and is eager to enhance brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.

Your responsibilities

MARKETING

  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns targeting leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizations.
  • Support social media management and create engaging content to promote the resort’s offerings and facilities.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to propose innovative strategies and positioning.
  • Create, update, and manage content for online and offline platforms.
  • Oversee sourcing and management of merchandise and branded materials.
  • Coordinate corporate photo and video shoots.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on promotional campaigns and events.
  • Lead the Playitas Nature team, including setting and following up on annual objectives.
  • Coordinate the Travelife sustainability certification process.

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify and engage potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event planners.
  • Support the creation of customized proposals and packages for events, retreats, camps, and group bookings.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and conduct regular follow-ups.
  • Represent the resort at tourism fairs, industry workshops, and networking events.
  • Work closely with reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of group bookings.
  • Monitor market trends to identify sales opportunities.
  • Promote cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); German is highly valued; Spanish or other European languages are a plus.
  • Experience managing social media and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing.
  • Proficient with design/content tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut).
  • Highly organized with multitasking skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Passion for sports and an active lifestyle is a plus.
