Playitas Resort, the leading sports resort in Europe, offers more than 30 different sports and fitness activities for everyone who wants to get fit, stay fit or prepare for a sports event. Located in a picturesque bay next to the fishing village of Las Playitas on the beach, the resort offers its guests state-of-the-art facilities such as a heated Olympic pool, a bike centre equipped with the latest road bikes and mountain bikes, 5 tennis courts, 4 padel courts, 2 multicourts, a climbing wall with 5 levels of difficulty, a boxing ring, indoor hall, a 700m² gym, open air fitness park, and an 18-hole golf course.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to support and implement sales and marketing strategies with a strong focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships and is eager to grow brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Marketing
  2. Planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns targeting leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizations.
  3. Supporting social media management and creating engaging content to promote the resort’s offerings and facilities.
  4. Conducting market and competitor analysis to propose innovative strategies.
  5. Creating and managing content for online and offline platforms.
  6. Sourcing and managing merchandise and branded materials.
  7. Coordinating and supervising corporate photo and video shoots.
  8. Ensuring brand consistency across all materials and channels.
  9. Collaborating with internal teams on promotional campaigns and events.
  10. Leading the Playitas Nature team, including setting and following up on yearly objectives.
  11. Coordinating the Travelife sustainability certification process.

Sales & Business Development

  1. Identifying and engaging potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event planners.
  2. Supporting the creation of customized proposals and packages for various events and group bookings.
  3. Maintaining a structured sales pipeline and conducting follow-ups.
  4. Representing the resort at tourism fairs, industry workshops, and networking events.
  5. Working with reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of group bookings.
  6. Monitoring market trends to identify sales opportunities.
  7. Promoting cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Requirements include:

  1. Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related roles within hospitality or tourism.
  3. Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Availability to travel and work flexible hours.
  6. Fluency in English; German is highly valued; Spanish or other European languages are a plus.
  7. Experience managing social media and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  8. Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing.
  9. Proficiency with design tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut.
  10. Highly organized with strong multitasking skills and a proactive attitude.
  11. Affinity for sports and active lifestyles is a plus.
