We are looking for a motivated and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to support and implement sales and marketing strategies with a strong focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships and is eager to grow brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.
Your responsibilities include:
- Marketing
- Planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns targeting leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizations.
- Supporting social media management and creating engaging content to promote the resort’s offerings and facilities.
- Conducting market and competitor analysis to propose innovative strategies.
- Creating and managing content for online and offline platforms.
- Sourcing and managing merchandise and branded materials.
- Coordinating and supervising corporate photo and video shoots.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all materials and channels.
- Collaborating with internal teams on promotional campaigns and events.
- Leading the Playitas Nature team, including setting and following up on yearly objectives.
- Coordinating the Travelife sustainability certification process.
Sales & Business Development
- Identifying and engaging potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event planners.
- Supporting the creation of customized proposals and packages for various events and group bookings.
- Maintaining a structured sales pipeline and conducting follow-ups.
- Representing the resort at tourism fairs, industry workshops, and networking events.
- Working with reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of group bookings.
- Monitoring market trends to identify sales opportunities.
- Promoting cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Requirements include:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related roles within hospitality or tourism.
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to travel and work flexible hours.
- Fluency in English; German is highly valued; Spanish or other European languages are a plus.
- Experience managing social media and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing.
- Proficiency with design tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills and a proactive attitude.
- Affinity for sports and active lifestyles is a plus.
