Se busca un Assistant Marketing Manager apasionado por el deporte para unirse a JR Spain en Tenerife. El candidato ideal planificará campañas de marketing, atraerá clientes y gestionará redes sociales. Se requiere un título en Marketing o un campo relacionado y experiencia en el sector turístico.

Formación

  • Experiencia mínima de 2 años en roles de ventas o marketing, idealmente en la industria de hospitalidad.
  • Dominio del inglés; alemán valorado.
  • Familiaridad con SEO, SEM y herramientas de marketing digital.

Responsabilidades

  • Planificar y ejecutar campañas de marketing para clientes de ocio y corporativos.
  • Identificar y atraer clientes B2B en el sector turístico.
  • Gestionar plataformas de redes sociales y crear contenido atractivo.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to support and implement sales and marketing strategies with a strong focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships, and is eager to grow brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.

Your responsibilities

MARKETING

  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns aimed at leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizations
  • Support the management of social media platforms and create engaging content to promote the resorts’ offerings and facilities
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to propose innovative actions and positioning strategies
  • Create, update, and manage content for online and offline platforms
  • Oversee the sourcing and management of merchandise and branded materials
  • Coordinate and supervise corporate photo and video shoots
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop promotional campaigns and event-related communications
  • Lead the Playitas Nature team, including implementation and follow-up of yearly objectives
  • Coordinate the Travelife sustainability certification process

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify and engage potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event planners
  • Support the creation of customized proposals and packages for events, retreats, camps, and group bookings.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and conduct regular follow-ups with leads and partners
  • Represent the resort at tourism fairs, industry workshops, and networking events to drive lead generation
  • Work closely with the reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of group bookings
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and positioning
  • Promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize guest revenue and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or commercial roles, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to travel and to work flexible schedules based on business needs
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); German highly valued; Spanish or other European languages are a plus
  • Confident in managing social media platforms and familiar with digital marketing tools and trends
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing.
  • Proficient with design and content tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut).
  • Highly organized, with strong multitasking abilities and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Affinity for sports and active lifestyle is a plus.
