The University of Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Innovation, serving as a design specialist. This is a two-year fixed-term position, with potential renewal based on performance, offering a competitive salary, annual leave, and medical benefits.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing academic and research duties, including teaching and grant writing.
2. Leading the operation of the prototyping workshop.
3. Developing students' hands-on skills.
4. Providing technical, logistical, and pedagogical support to staff, students, and researchers.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least one year of instructional experience in digital and material technologies.
• Proficiency with prototyping machines and digital tools, including generative AI.
• Experience in designing mechatronic products and prototypes.
• Good command of Chinese and English, self-initiated, and able to work independently.
• Preference for industrial experience in product design or creative arts, with a strong engineering foundation.
