Job summary

MDPI Spain in Barcelona seeks an Editorial Assistant to support editorial workflows for scholarly journals within your domain. You will coordinate peer-review evaluations, format manuscripts to in-house standards, and handle email communications with authors, reviewers, and editors.

You will collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure timely publication, with high quality and consistency in a dynamic, international environment at a central Barcelona location.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Life/Health sciences).
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support the editorial process for academic journals within your domain.
• Coordinate peer-review evaluations and editorial decisions.
