REMEDY EDGE™ SPAIN in Barcelona is seeking a Medical Writer Supervisor to oversee scientific content development and supervision. The role requires a health science degree and at least 5 years of experience in medical writing and content supervision. Responsibilities include supervising medical strategies and creating scientific materials. The ideal candidate should be a native or bilingual Spanish or English speaker, have strong attention to detail, and be able to manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. This position values teamwork and collaboration within a diverse team.

About The Role

The Medical Writer Supervisor’s work focuses on developing and supervising scientific content (from slide decks to monographs, promotional materials, abstracts, article reviews, congress reports and more).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision of medical and publication strategies.
• Devising medical and publication strategy.
• Competitive intelligence analysis.
• Bibliographic background research.
• Creation, editing, and validation of scientific materials.
• Ensuring proper referencing and scientific accuracy of all materials. Incorporating all feedback provided by the client in a proper and timely manner.
• KOL management.

Skills & Experience

• Must have a health science degree (e.g. in biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in medical writing and scientific content supervision.
• Ability to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
• Key Opinion Leaders management.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines.
• Native/Bilingual Spanish or English speaker.
• Team player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers.
• Experience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus.
