Within the breeding department of Rijk Zwaan, we develop new varieties suited for different climatic conditions. The assistant's responsibilities include practical breeding activities such as evaluating and reporting on various selection and trial results, sowing, crossing, harvesting, seed logistics, and maintaining records in our breeding management system. Approximately 10% of the role involves office tasks like planning and coordinating trials in the database.
