The Department of Information, Operations and Management Sciences – Information Systems (IS) Division at TBS Education is seeking to fill one faculty position in the field of Information Systems. The position will be based in Barcelona. The division of Information Systems brings together 14 faculty members whose recent publications include articles in leading journals such as Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Information Systems Journal, and Decision Support Systems.

Interviews will take place on : Thursday, February 13, 2025 in Barcelona.

Qualifications:

1. Candidates should hold a PhD in Information Systems (or related fields such as Computing Science, Data Science, Analytics, etc.)
2. Possess excellent teaching abilities and the potential to publish in leading academic journals (AJG or FNEGE ranked)
3. Expected to teach in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels and develop lectures in their field of expertise
4. Knowledge in programming and data analytics is highly encouraged
5. Defended PhD in the past five years
6. Successful first experience in academia or programming and data analytics
7. Good command of the Spanish language
8. Knowledge of Barcelona's socio-economic environment and local corporate network is a plus
