Job Opportunity: Asset Integration Technician

This role is part of the Fluence Digital EMEA team, focusing on connecting utility-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and renewable energy assets to the Fluence APM (Asset Performance Management) systems. Fluence Digital customers use our platform to monitor and optimize their assets, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum power generation.

Responsibilities

• Connecting assets to the Fluence APM:
• Coordinating data collection from clients
• Arranging digital connections with IT teams
• Analyzing raw asset data
• Mapping data into Fluence schema (Excel, Python, SQL)
• Validating data
• Reporting progress and ETAs to the digital team
• Problem solving and fault analysis
• Bug capture and reporting to development teams
• Fault analysis and reporting using tools like Word and PowerPoint
• Supporting technical functions such as data manipulation, configuration changes, and asset performance analysis
• Client report generation involving data retrieval (SQL), processing (Python, Excel), and report creation

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates are pragmatic, IT-literate individuals with an engineering or IT background. Experience in the energy or renewable energy sector is desirable but not essential. Must demonstrate logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python.

Additional Information

This is a home-based role requiring travel within the EMEA region for training and meetings. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
