ASP.NET Web Developer (Worldwide or in 1 of our offices)

Siteways Iberia is a team of innovative business experts from around the world. We create and maintain online platforms and social networks, delivering quality products in a fun niche.

We are currently seeking mid to senior ASP.NET Web Developers who can work remotely from anywhere in the world or from one of our offices.

Primary responsibilities of the role include:

1. Participating in project development according to assigned specifications
2. Writing and commenting code accurately
3. Reporting work progress regularly
4. Participating in code reviews

Required skills:

1. At least 5 years of experience with .NET Versions 2.0, 3.5, 4.0
2. Minimum 3 years of experience or strong knowledge of Entity Framework & LINQ, including writing queries for selecting, filtering, grouping, and joining data sources
3. Experience with MVC architecture
4. Familiarity with Web service data sources, object data, LINQ to SQL entities
5. Experience querying AJAX HTML/JSON data
6. Proficiency with jQuery selectors, JSON parsing, HTML manipulation, effects, easing, and data injection

Preferred skills:

1. Experience with ASP.NET using VB.NET
2. Node.js server and client coding
3. HTML5 elements such as video, audio, canvas
4. Experience with Flash and ActionScript
5. Java programming experience
