ASP.NET Web Developer (Worldwide or in 1 of our offices)

Siteways Iberia is a team of innovative business experts from around the world. We create and maintain online platforms and social networks, bringing quality products to a fun niche in the industry.

We are currently seeking medium to senior ASP.NET Web Developers who can work remotely from anywhere in the world or from one of our offices.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Participate in project development according to assigned specifications.
2. Write and comment code accurately.
3. Report work progress regularly.
4. Participate in code reviews.

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of experience with .NET versions 2.0, 3.5, 4.0.
• At least 3 years of experience or good knowledge of Entity Framework & LINQ, including writing queries for selecting, filtering, grouping, and joining from object sources.
• Experience with MVC architecture.
• Familiarity with web service data sources, object data, LINQ to SQL entities.
• Experience with AJAX data retrieval using queries, jQuery selectors, parsing JSON data, HTML manipulation, effects, and data injection.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with ASP.NET using VB.NET.
• Node.js server and client-side coding.
• Knowledge of HTML5 elements (video, audio, canvas).
• Experience with Flash and ActionScript.
• Java programming experience.
