ASP.NET Web Developer (Worldwide or in 1 of our offices)

Siteways Iberia is a team of innovative business experts from around the world. We create and maintain online platforms and social networks, bringing quality products to a fun and niche market.

We are currently seeking mid to senior-level ASP.NET Web Developers who can work remotely from anywhere in the world or from one of our offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Participate in project development according to assigned specifications.
2. Write well-commented, efficient code.
3. Report regularly on work progress.
4. Participate in code reviews.

Required Skills:

1. At least 5 years of experience with .NET versions 2.0, 3.5, 4.0.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience or strong knowledge of Entity Framework & LINQ, including writing queries for selecting, filtering, grouping, and joining data sources.
3. Experience with MVC architecture.
4. Familiarity with web service data sources, object data, LINQ to SQL entities.
5. Experience using queries for AJAX HTML/JSON data.
6. Proficiency with jQuery selectors, parsing JSON data, and HTML manipulation (adding/removing elements, effects, easing, data/field injection).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with ASP.NET using VB.NET.
2. Knowledge of Node.js server and client-side coding.
3. Experience with HTML5 elements (video, audio, canvas).
4. Experience with Flash and ActionScript.
5. Java programming experience.
