ASP.NET Web Developer (Worldwide or in 1 of our offices)

We are currently seeking mid to senior ASP.NET Web Developers who can work remotely from anywhere in the world or from one of our offices.

Primary responsibilities include:

1. Participating in project development according to assigned specifications
2. Writing and commenting code accurately
3. Regularly reporting work progress
4. Participating in code reviews

Required skills:

1. At least 5 years of experience with .NET versions 2.0, 3.5, 4.0
2. At least 3 years of experience or strong knowledge of Entity Framework & LINQ, including writing queries for selecting, filtering, grouping, and joining data from object sources
3. Experience with MVC architecture
4. Familiarity with web service data sources, object data, LINQ to SQL entities
5. Experience with AJAX data queries using JSON
6. Proficiency with jQuery, JSON parsing, HTML manipulation, effects, easing, and data injection

Advantages include:

1. Experience with ASP.NET using VB.NET
2. Knowledge of Node.js server and client-side coding
3. Experience with HTML5 elements such as video, audio, and canvas
4. Experience with Flash and ActionScript
