Zusammenfassung

Caldic is seeking a Product Manager Expert for Asian-sourced food ingredients to drive growth across Europe. You will bridge suppliers, sourcing teams, supply chain, and sales while focusing on commodity and specialty ingredients and navigating international trade.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the sector, strong commercial acumen, and fluency in English. This remote/hybrid role involves travel ~50% across Europe and reports to the Regional Industry Director, Food Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with relevant experience considered
• At least 5 years in food ingredients, specialty chemicals, or related industries
• Fluent English; Chinese and other European languages advantageous

Aufgaben

• Manage and develop a portfolio of Asian-sourced suppliers, focusing on China and key regions
• Drive commercial growth and market expansion across Europe
• Collaborate with Asia sourcing to optimize supplier relationships and market opportunities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with sales leaders across Europe
• Support customers with product guidance and commercial expertise
• Lead supplier negotiations, pricing, budgeting, and portfolio planning
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned product categories
• Educate and support sales teams on products and market developments
• Act as the primary commercial interface among suppliers, customers, sourcing, supply chain and sales
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes in the ingredient market
• Support handling of supply chain challenges and import regulations
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure growth initiatives
