Job summary

Walker Lovell Ltd. is seeking a senior procurement leader to take ownership of a developing European function. You will shape supplier strategy, manage negotiations and drive cost improvements across European operations, reporting directly to senior leadership.

You will build frameworks, partner with cross-functional teams, and expand the scope of the procurement function as the business grows across Europe.

Qualifications

• Senior strategic procurement experience within food, nutrition, ingredients, FMCG or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience managing suppliers and outsourced/contract manufacturing relationships.
• Evidence of delivering measurable commercial improvements through sourcing and negotiations.
• Fluent English and Spanish, with flexibility for occasional European travel.

• Build the strategic procurement framework across European operations, establishing processes, reporting and supplier evaluation.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and contract manufacturers across pricing, payment terms, MOQs and commercial agreements.
• Drive cost optimisation and supplier diversification using market intelligence and structured sourcing strategies.
• Partner with senior leadership, R&D, Quality, Finance and Sales on sourcing, margin, forecasting and supply decisions.
