Job summary

maxon seeks a Network Engineer for its Barcelona campus to run and improve the Aruba network (Wi-Fi, LAN, ClearPass). You will join a small ICT security team and work closely with security and firewall colleagues. The role is hybrid in Barcelona (3 days in office, 2 remote) with occasional travel to Switzerland.

Responsibilities include configuring Aruba Central, ClearPass, and AOS‑CX switches, and ensuring ISO 27001 compliance across LAN/WLAN while supporting incident analysis and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in network engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in networking.
• Hands‑on experience with Aruba networking.

Responsibilities

• Configure Aruba Central and Aruba ClearPass.
• Maintain Aruba AOS‑CX switches and Wi‑Fi 7 APs.
• Ensure LAN/WLAN meets ISO 27001 requirements.
• Collaborate with security and firewall teams.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and internal IT.
• Deliver network services per SLAs.
