An innovative AI startup is looking for a Founding AI Engineer to develop a game-changing platform for email marketing campaigns. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge NLP models and LLMs to automate the email campaign journey. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £100,000 plus equity. The ideal candidate has startup experience and a strong background in AI. This is a fully remote role, but candidates in London or Barcelona are preferred.

Our client is on a mission to let AI handle every step of the email campaign journey, and they need a Founding AI Engineer to help make it happen.

About them

They're backed by one of Europe's best-known fellowships, a programme that's already spawned unicorns.

Over the past year, they've built a prototype platform capable of sending ultra-personalised email campaigns with almost zero user input.

Valued at $5 million (pre-seed), they aim to double that by their next raise in September.

What you'll bring

1. Hands-on experience taking an AI startup from zero to one
2. Solid track record developing, training and deploying NLP models, think BERT and classic pre-LLM techniques
3. Expertise with cutting-edge LLMs and fine-tuning, including OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, LLaMA and the like
4. Experience building multi-agent systems
5. Bonus points: Background in email marketing, Experience generating synthetic data

What's on offer

Up to £100 000 base salary plus meaningful equity

Fully remote, with a preference for London- or Barcelona-based candidates to join an emerging hub in Barcelona
