European International School of Barcelona is looking for a passionate and dedicated Art teacher to join our Secondary team in September 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Art education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.

We are located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, just 15km from the centre of Barcelona. EISB is surrounded by the 8.465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14.000m2 plot with 10.503m2 of constructed spaces for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, a library, auditorium, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons to students in Secondary.
• Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and educational best practices.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student’s development and school initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Arts, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Two years of previous experience in similar positions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Spanish & Catalan language is desirable.
• A valid work permit to work in Spain.
• Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
