Formación

• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with dbt.
• 4+ years of experience with an object-oriented programming language.
• Proven experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration.

Responsabilidades

• Ownership of key data architecture initiatives focusing on dbt and Airflow.
• Hands-on development in the fashion & retail sector.

Conocimientos

Experience with dbt

We're hiring : Data Architect – Exciting Opportunity in the Fashion & Retail Tech Sector

Location : Remote from Spain or hybrid in Barcelona

Freelance contract : 2-year contract with potential for extension

Languages : Spanish and English B2+

We are seeking a Data Architect to join a dynamic tech team in the fashion & retail sector . This role involves hands-on development and ownership of key data architecture initiatives, focusing on dbt and Airflow .

What we’re looking for :

• 2–3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with dbt (must-have)
• 4+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
• Proven experience working with Apache Airflow for orchestration
• Bonus points for experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, ECR / ECS)
• Familiarity with Databricks and / or Snowflake is highly valued
• Knowledge of CI / CD workflows, especially using Jenkins and Bitbucket
• A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong ownership of technical challenges
