A leading company in fashion and retail tech is seeking a Data Architect for a 2-year freelance contract. The role offers flexibility with remote work from anywhere in Spain or hybrid options in Barcelona. You'll drive crucial data architecture initiatives requiring solid technical expertise with Python, orchestration services, and CI/CD practices.

• 2–3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with data architecture.

We're hiring : Data Architect – Exciting Opportunity in the Fashion & Retail Tech Sector

Location : Remote from Spain or hybrid in Barcelona. Start date: ASAP. Freelance contract: 2-year contract with the possibility of extension. Languages: Spanish and English B2+

We are looking for a

Data Architect

to join a dynamic tech team in the

fashion & retail sector. This role focuses on hands-on development and ownership of key data architecture initiatives, especially around

Airflow.

What we’re looking for :

• 2–3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with data architecture
• Must-have: 4+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
• Proven experience working with orchestration services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, ECR / ECS)
• Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake is highly valued
• Knowledge of CI / CD workflows, especially using Jenkins and Bitbucket
• A proactive mindset, a drive to learn, and strong ownership of technical challenges
