We're hiring: Data Architect – Exciting Opportunity in the Fashion & Retail Tech Sector

Location: Remote from Spain or hybrid in Barcelona
Start date: ASAP
Freelance contract: 2-year contract with possibility of extension
Languages: Spanish and English B2+

We are looking for a Data Architect to join a dynamic tech team in the fashion & retail sector. This role focuses on hands-on development and ownership of key data architecture initiatives, especially around Airflow.

What we’re looking for:

1. 2–3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with data architecture
2. Must-have: 4+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
3. Proven experience working with data orchestration services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, ECR / ECS)
4. Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake is highly valued
5. Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, especially using Jenkins and Bitbucket
6. A proactive mindset, a drive to learn, and strong ownership of technical challenges
