We're hiring:

Position: Data Architect – Exciting Opportunity in the Fashion & Retail Tech Sector

Location: Remote from Spain or hybrid in Barcelona
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Freelance, 2-year contract with potential extension
Languages: Spanish and English (B2+)

About the role:

We are looking for a Data Architect to join a dynamic tech team in the fashion & retail sector. This role focuses on hands-on development and ownership of key data architecture initiatives, especially around Airflow.

What we’re looking for:

1. 2–3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with data architecture.
2. Must-have: 4+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
3. Proven experience working with data orchestration services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, ECR / ECS).
4. Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake is highly valued.
5. Knowledge of CI / CD workflows, especially using Jenkins.
6. Experience with Bitbucket.
7. A proactive mindset, a drive to learn, and strong ownership of technical challenges.

Location preferences:

If you're based in Barcelona, we’d love to have you occasionally on-site — but we’re also open to remote candidates located anywhere in Spain.
