Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks an Armament Integration Engineer to define requirements for armament integration in Future Combat Air Systems, and to develop control and carriage system designs for integration at system, subsystem, or equipment level.

You will prepare and assess safety documentation, perform impact analyses, and generate Aircraft Interface Control Documents, while coordinating lifecycle activities and supporting observability efforts.

Formación

• Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or related discipline.
• Experience in Aircraft Systems Integration.
• Experience in Armament carriage equipments integration will be a plus.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.

Responsabilidades

• Define requirements for integration of Armament in Future Combat Air Systems (and other programs) at system, subsystem, or equipment level.
• Define Armament Control and Carriage Systems Design Requirements.
• Perform impact analysis for integration of new Armament in a combat platform.
• Prepare and assess technical documentation for armament integration.
• Generate weapons to Aircraft Interface Control Document.
• Prepare and assess safety documentation. Generate Preliminary Hazard Analysis.
• Identify development life cycle activities needed to develop a system/product and level of confidence per regulations.
• Support Low Observability activities related to weapons/Stores integration.
• Define checkpoints and reviews with maturity aligned to program phases and gates.

Job Description

An opportunity for an Armament Integration Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

Responsibilities

• To define requirements for integration of Armament in Future Combat Air Systems (among other programs), at system, subsystem, or equipment level.
• To define Armament Control and Carriage Systems Design Requirements
• To perform Impact analysis for the integration of new Armament in a combat platform.
• Preparation and assessment of the technical documentation for the integration of armament.
• Generation of weapons to Aircraft Interface Control Document.
• Preparation and assessment of Safety documentation. Generation of Preliminary Hazard Analysis
• To identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
• Support Low Observability activities related to weapons/Stores integration.
• To define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.

Skills

• Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
• Experience in Aircraft Systems Integration.
• Experience in Armament carriage equipments integration will be a plus.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
