Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking an Armament Integration Engineer to define integration requirements for Armament within Future Combat Air Systems and other programs. You will analyze system and subsystem interfaces and create design requirements for Armament Control and Carriage Systems.

The role involves impact analysis, documentation preparation, and hazard assessment, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Formación

• Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience in Aircraft Systems Integration.
• Experience in Armament carriage equipment integration will be a plus.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.

Responsabilidades

• To define requirements for integration of Armament in Future Combat Air Systems (among other programs), at system, subsystem, or equipment level.
• To define Armament Control and Carriage Systems Design Requirements
• To perform Impact analysis for the integration of new Armament in a combat platform.
• Preparation and assessment of the technical documentation for the integration of armament.
• Generation of weapons to Aircraft Interface Control Document.
• Preparation and assessment of Safety documentation. Generation of Preliminary Hazard Analysis
• To identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
• Support Low Observability activities related to weapons/Stores integration.
• To define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.
