Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid is seeking a Senior Armament Systems & Weapon Integration Engineer to drive end-to-end development and integration of armament systems on aerial platforms. You will ensure regulatory compliance, airworthiness, and robust performance throughout lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in aircraft systems integration, English and Spanish fluency, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and supplier engagements. Hybrid work is available where possible.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Aeronautical or Industrial discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Aircraft Systems Integration.
• Advanced level in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience with Armament/Stores integration and DOORS/Matlab/Simulink/C++ is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full lifecycle from concept to retirement, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Perform trade-off analyses and lead performance assessments.
• Define architectures for Armament Control and Stores Management systems.
• Define interfaces and manage requirements across system levels.
• Lead technical integration with ICDs and assess architectures.
• Prepare safety and technical documentation for armament systems.
• Develop system test benches and define test requirements.
• Ensure airworthiness through qualification reports and certification docs.
• Serve as primary technical contact for suppliers.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
