You will report to the Business Manager – Railways and works closely with Technical and Customer Service teams.
As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy and delivering agreed sales targets for Rockdelta products.
You will be generating sales growth by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with specifiers, contractors, distributors, and other decision-makers. You will be identifying and developing business opportunities, ensuring optimal market coverage, and providing technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle.
Identify, pursue, and convert project and channel opportunities
Develop yearly and action plans; monitor sales and product mix against objectives.
Manage pricing and discount decisions within the delegation of authority.
Maintain, build, and extend a network with customers, specifiers, and stakeholders.
Provide technical advice and consultative selling based on market or project needs.
Organize or co-lead customer trainings, technical seminars, and handle after-sales support.
Monitor and analyse market trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
Register all activity in CRM and maintain a full sales/project pipeline.
Collaborate with technical and customer service teams on solution development.
University degree, preferably in Engineering, Technical or Business
Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B technical sales, ideally with project/specification sales and channel management.
Excellent English and Spanish; French or other languages are plus.
Confident user of MS Office and CRM software.
Technical acumen: able to interpret specs and drawings and support consultative sales.
Decisive, accountable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong relationship builder; adaptable to diverse cultures.
Skilled negotiator and communicator.
Organized, able to plan and prioritize effectively.
Team player with a customer‑centric approach.
We will consider as plus: Experience in railway, building, or construction materials, strategic perspective balancing short‑term and long‑term goals, experience building and leveraging networks for commercial advantage, ability to collect and analyse information for market and sales insight.
