Your profile

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver innovative, high-quality leading-edge solutions for the 2D / 3D Printing industry in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and multidisciplinary environment. This position is located in Berlin or Barcelona, with occasional travel requirements either between Quantica sites or travel to customers, partners, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of electro-mechanical systems devoted to layer deposition of viscous materials, from concept generation to market introduction
• Exciting teamwork with our international colleagues and external partners & customers
• Deliver high-quality Hardware design that is ready for production and delivers the functionality
• Guide and develop team members by providing technical guidance and documentation
• Drive execution planning and implementation of engineering processes and standards

Required Skills:

• Master or above degree in any mechanical engineering related discipline
• Min. 10+ years experience in a similar position for product design and development, ideally in a Printing or 3D Printing adjacent industry
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles and design, including concept and architecture
• Excellent knowledge of ME fundamentals: CAD, CAE, system modelization, prototyping, tolerance analysis, specifications (GD&T / ISO GPS), DFMEA, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent language skills in English
