A leading architecture design and development company seeks an architect in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and skilled in design software, contributing to sustainable projects like BREEAM-certified urban planning. This role offers the chance to engage in a multifaceted development process, from initial urban planning to construction documentation.

Formación

• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable with design software (Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Interest in sustainable planning and design.

Responsabilidades

• Produce elegant and informative plans, diagrams, charts, and illustrations.
• Work on a sustainable housing project from A to Z.

We are Jörp, an Architecture Design and Development company based in Reykjavík (Iceland) and Barcelona.

Founded in 2020, we have already completed 2 mid-size (60-80 units) affordable housing projects in Iceland. We are currently working on a vertical farming complex and a 40.000m2 BREEAM certified urban planning project, both in Iceland.

We're looking for an architect who is:

- fluent in English;
- comfortable with Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator - the basics;
- interested in sustainable planning and design, especially BREEAM and Passivhaus - but no special training required, as we'll be working with a consultant;
- able to produce elegant and informative plans, diagrams, charts, illustrations;




- willing to work in our office close to Plaça de Catalunya, maybe flexible.

Compensation and duration to be discussed.

It will be a great opportunity to work on a sustainable housing project from A to Z. We're now starting to draft the initial urban planning and will work all the way through to construction documentation.
