AgileEngine, LLC. is hiring for a remote role focused on automating mobile tests and expanding coverage across iOS and Android. The position emphasizes replacing manual regression tests with automation and prioritizing testing work over feature development.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mobile test automation, experience with Kotlin, and familiarity with Firebase and Test Lab. UiAutomator or Robolectric experience is a plus, with standard EST working hours.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
