Airbus Operations SL in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a professional Secondary Power System Engine In-Service Engineer to join the 1PYE2 team within the Powerplant organization. You will oversee integration and in-service support of the APU engine system across its life cycle.

The role emphasizes coordination with suppliers, technical investigations, and end-to-end design responsibilities through Aircraft Mod, V&V, and certification inputs, with a hybrid working model where possible.

Formación

• Requires mechanical/aeronautical/industrial engineering background.
• Experience with systems or powerplant integration and in-service airworthiness processes.
• Strong autonomy, proactive communication, stakeholder management within multicultural environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and steer APU suppliers on turbomachinery performance and root-cause investigations.
• Lead turbomachinery investigations and propose corrective actions.
• Manage end-to-end technical responsibilities for design solutions through Aircraft Mod process and certification inputs.
• Support production with engineering responses to APU turbomachinery issues.
• Provide timely responses to Customer Service queries and aid in airline troubleshooting and AOG situations.
