Volotea is seeking a Powerplant Engineer to maintain engines and APUs, analyze OEM docs, forecast shop visits, and optimize maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce costs.

You will work in a hybrid Barcelona office, collaborate across departments, support CAMO activities on CFM56-5B and A320 family, and contribute to end-of-lease work packages.

English required, Spanish helpful; AMOS knowledge is a plus; 3+ years in engineering and aviation maintenance preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience in an Engineering environment in CAMO; Powerplant experience desirable.
• A320 experience desirable; experience with AIRBUS & CFM manuals and data sources.
• English is essential; Spanish recommended.
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations.
• AMOS knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, review, and distribute ADs, VSBs, and other OEM documentation.
• Issue engineering orders and bulletins; administer and distribute technical documentation for aircraft and powerplant within the fleet.
• Support maintenance of CFM56-5B engines, 131-9A and APS3200 APUs, and nacelles.
• Forecast and track engine and APU shop visits.
• Provide technical support to Planning, MCC, and Transitions.
• Prepare powerplant-related documentation and engine replacement workpackages.
• Perform reliability analyses to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Engine Health monitoring and parameter alerts assessment.
• Support analysis of maintenance program effectiveness.
• Manage phase-in/phase-out of engines; prepare end-of-lease docs.
• Occasional aircraft base maintenance support (technical representative).
