Apple in Barcelona is seeking an Applied ML Engineer to join our Data and ML Innovation team. You will design, build, and deploy production ML models that defend our ecosystem across text, image, and audio channels, while maintaining user privacy and scalable systems.

You will own the full ML lifecycle from prototyping to deployment, drive data strategies, and collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to ship robust security solutions.

Formación

• Proven experience shipping ML models to production and owning end-to-end lifecycle.
• Strong familiarity with ML fundamentals and development around LLMs and diffusion models.
• Proficient in Python and DL toolkits (JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Ability to handle sensitive/offensive content in security-focused ML work.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML models to detect and mitigate abuse across text, image, and audio.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: from prototyping and data analysis to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of models in production.
• Drive the data strategy to improve model performance by analyzing distribution gaps, contributing to synthetic data pipelines, and creating automated annotation systems.
• Architect end-to-end systems for monitoring platform activity, detecting misuse, and triggering automated enforcement actions in real-time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, research, and product to define project requirements and deliver robust security solutions.
