Apple in Barcelona is seeking a talented ML researcher to push the state of the art in introspection, robustness, and next‑generation architectures. You will tackle challenging problems, collaborate with world‑class researchers and engineers, and contribute to publications and talks in top conferences.

You will design experiments at scale, translate research into Apple products, and mentor peers while upholding privacy and rigorous scientific standards in every project.

Formación

• In-depth expertise in ML and DL with focus on modern architectures such as transformers, diffusion, or SSMs.
• Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability and statistics.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Strong publication record in top ML venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP).
• Ability to formulate a research problem, design experiments, and implement solutions end to end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical work to both expert and non‑expert audiences.
• Ability to focus and simplify when navigating ambiguous, fast‑moving research problems, and to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Identify gaps in the research landscape and define a research agenda.
• Implement innovative ML approaches to address identified gaps.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments at scale, iterating from prototypes to robust implementations.
• Prepare technical reports and papers for publication and present results at conferences.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to peers and partner teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate research outcomes into Apple products, ensuring quality, scientific rigor, and user privacy.
