Alinia AI, Inc. is seeking an Applied Researcher in Barcelona to develop a holistic alignment strategy and platform for safe LLM deployment.

You will research, develop, and improve evaluation and post-training techniques, shaping the art of the possible for customers and their clients. The role requires deep expertise in LLMs, evaluation, and alignment with values and policies, and involves hands-on building of practical AI tools integrated into the Alinia Platform.

Formación

• MSc in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, or related field.
• Proven experience in LLMs, ML, or NLP.
• Demonstrated research capability with publications in AI, ethics, or ML conferences/journals.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in LLM training (required).

Responsabilidades

• Innovate evaluation methods for LLMs across alignment dimensions.
• Develop synthetic data augmentation techniques for LLM evaluation.
• Align LLMs through supervised fine-tuning and preference optimization.
• Document research progress and share findings with the team.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate research into AI solutions.
• Stay updated on trends in LLM evaluation, alignment, and optimization.
