Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in Barcelona seeks a highly motivated engineer with a passion for hardware and power electronics. You will support validation of high voltage ICs (DC/DC, current sensors, isolated drivers) and collaborate with the hardware team.

You will design and validate power electronics circuits, develop schematics/PCBs, and generate SPICE models while measuring relevant parameters for the IC under test.

Formación

• MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; power electronics focus preferred.
• Hands-on verification and debugging of circuits (firmware and hardware).
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.

Responsabilidades

• Design simulated and validated power electronics circuits to meet required specifications.
• Prepare hardware and software setups to measure all required IC parameters.
• Develop schematic and PCB for new solutions.
• Develop device modeling (SPICE).
• Work with IC design team to debug the device under test.
• Generate documentation and reports with all performed tests.

Who we look for

MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated engineer with passion for hardware and good knowledge power electronic. He will support the validation of our new integrated circuits (IC) for high voltage applications (including DC/DC, current sensors, isolated driver) working inside our hardware department.

Task

Design simulated and validated power electronics circuits to meet the required specifications. Prepare hardware and software setups, together with our hardware & simulation team, to be able to measure all required parameters of our IC. Develop schematic and PCB to for new solutions. Develop device modeling (spice) Work with IC design team to debug and troubleshoot the device under test. Generate documentation and reports with all performed test.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Subjects related to power electronics and control are desired.
• Hands‑on experience in verification and troubleshooting electronic circuits (firmware and hardware).
• Experience in the use of electronic laboratory equipment including oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment.
• Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation.
• Self‑motivated, strong team player.
