About the Role

The role involves satisfying customer requirements and achieving company budgets through developing activities for specific product lines or application segments.

Main responsibilities :

1. Evaluate client requirements and determine if they can be addressed with suitable technical solutions or if they need to be declined for technical reasons.
2. Support sales engineers during customer calls for quotations of complex systems, especially when technical information or further details are needed.
3. Develop technical proposals, including system layout engineering and cost estimation of necessary components or modules.
4. Request quotations from external suppliers and evaluate their estimates.
5. Provide technical support to other departments for the segments or product lines under responsibility.
6. Collaborate with sales engineers to resolve assembly issues or handle customer complaints.
7. Develop the market and sales of new product lines or segments, acting as a local interface with central functions within the company.
8. Responsible for testing products and dosing to ensure the correct solutions are provided.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an engineering role.
• Product knowledge and familiarity with technical drawings.
• Understanding of product markets and project management.
• Customer awareness and customer-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of customer technology and cost estimation, including pay-off calculations.
• Proficiency with AutoDesk CAD tools (2D/3D).
• Strong negotiation skills.
