Formación

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer to work as part of the Data Centre Applications Engineering team based at our site in Guadalajara, Spain. This is a newly created role and will support the significant growth and opportunities we see in the Data Centre market across Europe. The position will report to the Principal Applications Engineering Team Leader in the UK, while working closely with our Spanish Key Account Manager based in and around Madrid.

Responsibilities for this role include :

• Supporting the growth and development of the sales team through provision of quotes and delivery of order information for customer services and manufacturing.
• Working with the Key Account Manager to understand technical specifications and provide technical quotes / solutions from the Airedale product range.
• Dealing with customer technical sales enquiries.
• Supporting the external sales team.
• Responding to any external sales enquiries.
• Providing details of orders to customer services and manufacturing.
• Liaising with third-party suppliers at the specification stage.

About you :

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications :

• Engineering knowledge to a minimum of a degree in a technical subject or diploma in a technical subject – mechanical / electrical / refrigeration.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications – namely Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with different groups within Airedale.
• Problem-solving skills to overcome challenging obstacles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use own initiative and prioritize tasks.
