Flywire is seeking an Application Support Engineer II in Valencia who combines a developer mindset with a passion for AI-driven efficiency. You will triage Tier-2 bugs by examining code, logs, and data flows, acting as a bridge between operations and core Engineering squads.

You'll leverage AI tools to automate workflows, document complex system behaviors, and collaborate with global teams. This role is ideal for junior developers seeking deep system exposure or automation-focused engineers

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years with a background in software development, technical application support, or a strong programming foundation (Junior Developer profiles are highly welcome!).
• You can read code, understand logic, and navigate databases.
• Experience with Rails/Java/React a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: triage and resolve Tier-2 internal application bugs by analyzing code behavior, system logs, and data flows.
• Bridge to Core Engineering: collaborate with backend/frontend squads and assist in database changes and tooling deployments.
• AI & Automation First: use AI tools to automate workflows and build scripts to optimize the support infrastructure.
• Architect Documentation: turn complex system behavior into clear technical docs for Tier-1 teams.
