Crypto.com is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Production Excellence & Stability team in Barcelona. You will help ensure uptime, oversee pre-production environments, manage incidents, and coordinate disaster recovery efforts.

The role emphasizes AI/LLMs automation, Web3 security research, and close collaboration with engineering. Remote or hybrid work options are available, with competitive benefits and opportunities to influence global blockchain infrastructure.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience using AI/LLMs to automate workflows or infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong communication skills to bridge end-users and engineering teams.
• Experience supporting applications in production environments.
• Knowledge of Rust, Python, Node.js or Golang.

Responsabilidades

• Guard uptime by ensuring stability and availability of production applications and blockchain infrastructure.

Production Excellence & Stability

• Guardian of uptime: ensure stability and availability of production applications and blockchain infrastructure.
• Environment management: oversee pre‑production and staging environments to enable seamless delivery.
• Incident & problem management: lead triage of alerts, conduct root‑cause analysis, and manage follow‑ups to prevent recurrence.
• Disaster recovery: coordinate testing, audits, and continuous improvement of monitoring tools and processes.

AI & Automation Innovation

• Apply hands‑on AI experience to build tools and agents that automate repetitive support tasks, triage, and reporting.

Technical (Web 3 and Blockchain) Research

• Stay current with supported blockchains and DApps, deconstruct new technologies to evaluate impact on product support.

Qualifications

• Support‑oriented mindset with a drive to investigate root causes and a commitment to system stability.
• Previous experience supporting applications in a production environment.
• Hands‑on experience using AI/LLMs to automate workflows or infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong communication skills to bridge end‑users and engineering teams, presenting clear empathetic updates and technical data.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Rust, Python, Node.js, or Golang.

Nice to Have

• Blockchain/Web3 technical depth with hands‑on experience writing or deploying DApps in Solana or EVM, and practical experience with staking across blockchains.
